Bang On A Can Marathon 2006

4th June 2006 will see New York City’s World Financial Center host the Bang On A Can Marathon. From the Bang On A Can Marathon site:

Bang on a Can continues its unparalleled tenure of presenting the most inclusive and innovative vision of music today. Fringe Rock and Pop, Classical, Alt-Jazz, World, and a healthy dose of the bizarre combine in a concert presentation that absolutely stretches beyond classification.

Amiina, of course, will be performing, along with loads of other great artists. The marathon starts at 11:30am and ends at 10pm, however, the program is yet to be announced.

Sigur Rós will be re-touring Europe in November 2005. Essentially, on top of revisiting places such as England, the Netherlands, France, Spain, etc, they’ll also be visiting places they couldn’t before: Finland, Sweden, Norway … Of course, Amina will be touring with Sigur Rós. I’ve received confirmation from Klink.is that Amina is likely to be will be Sigur Rós’ support act again.
